I need some help on the following using VBA Macro (optional):

• hide column A however unable to unhide it
• unable to delete columns B, C and so on but users have the ability to enter data entry on every cell or rows

you dont need a macro for this, after you hide a column, and after you lock or unlock the cells you want your users to be able to modify, under the review tab, protect worksheet, check the options that enables your user to do (or not) an action on that worksheet. The password is optional, but if you dont use a password, your users can unprotect the worksheet and delete columns by simply clicking the unprotect worksheet under review-tab

I appreciate your reply Catalin however what I need is to enable a password protect that does not allow users to delete all columns and the unhide column option is disabled.

Probably this behavior can be applied using VBA code. If you knew something about writing in VBA macro that would be great.

as i said, this can be done without a macro, you have attached a sample worksheet with columns G,H,i hidden, and all cells in sheet unlocked, so the users can enter data.

Just use the provided link with detailed instructions to do what you want.
