Default Creating an ics file

Hi,

I have discovered that an ics calendar file is in fact only a txt file, so it can be written by VBA.
There are several samples available in different forums all right - the issue is, the users uploading the samples have in general not documented their code.
What I am looking for would be an ics file with all, or at least many, of the available options used where each line has a comment, so one can really understand what code does what and where to edit for a specific purpose ...
Do any of you know such a thing?
I'm just trying to construct an ics-building macro myself, so I am missing this sorely ... can it be that everyone has to re-invent the wheel for him-/herself?

Best regards,

Officer_Bierschnitt
