Should I write some VBA scripts & Macros in Excel 2016, how can I ensure that the saved file scripts will operate OK on PCs with a mix of Excel Versions , namely 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016.
Any help appreciated

Simply write the code to suit the earliest version you'll be supporting. In reality, the code for most of what you'd want to do would most likely work with all versions back to Office 2003 & earlier.

"Simply write the code to suit the earliest ...." seems a bit of a tall order for a VBA "newbie" and suggests that I would need to know of any subtle differences between the 4 versions of Office! I was hoping there might be a parameter somewhere that I could set to limit the generated code to match the earliest Office version.
Naturally I will test my newbie VBA output on the four Office versions.
I'm managing a wry smile as I'm not sure I share your confidence that...

Since you apparently have access to multiple versions, try doing your development on the oldest one. Beyond that, if you're working on a more recent version and you're not sure when a particular feature was introduced, check the VBA help entry for it; often times there'll be an entry indicating which version it was introduced with. Regardless, you'll need to confirm your code actually works on all supported versions - in addition to features being added, features also sometimes get deprecated.
