Question Image DPI in Mac Office 2011

Hello,
I've just completed writing a manuscript, got all my images nicely in place, and now I want to make sure that they are at the maximum possible resolution that Word will allow.
In Office for Windows 2010, there is an option (File --> Options --> Advanced --> Image Size and Quality) where I can change the DPI of my image up to a maximum of 220dpi.
On Office for Mac 2011, I can find no such option. Is there one?

Cheers,
Alex

Hi Alex,

If you want to maximize the image quality in Word 2010, you'd choose the 'do not compress images in file' option. In Word 2007, IIRC, you could get to the same options by inserting an image, then selecting it and choosing 'Compress Pictures' from the Picture Tools tab (you can do the same in Word 2010 also). Maybe that's how you do it on the Mac version.

Alex,

Did you find a way to keep the image quality in the Office Word 2011 for Mac? Please let me know because every time I place an image in my "large file word", its size is automatically reduced. The file is not exceeding the word size limit.

Thank You
