Default drawing in microsoft word

Hello everyone,

Is there a way to write in Microsoft Word with a pad. I don't have a tablet PC but would like a drawing pad so I can insert images in Microsoft Word. On the bottom right of Microsoft Word it says drawing pad. Writing pad allows you to do it by mouse but that is very cumbersome. I would like a pad that you can use with a pen to insert an image. Thanks a lot for the help.
