Default Edit wrap points doesn't yield results I want.

Hi, all.

I'm trying to wrap text around a left-aligned square map with white space. I went to Format, Wrap Text, Edit Wrap Points, and set the points so that the text would butt up against the map. However, the text isn't wrapping where I set the points. See screenshot. The last two lines should read "He became a tailor and when he was 25, he married." How can I fix this?

Are you using a .png file with transparent background?, why? - you get more control over the Edit Points or rather the text which uses the edit points as a guide and not the square edges of say a .jpg file.

Click this link> https://i.imgur.com/hEx1wUL.png . . . . to see and download the .png file (with tranparent background) I have used. It is larger than you need, but you can resize in Word or image editor to suit your needs.

The text is wrapping correctly but the graphic is sitting on top of the text so the white parts of the image are obscuring the text. It appears that you can't send the graphic behind the text, despite the option to do so in Word (Right click graphic > Send to Back > Send Behind Text)

As Moonshine said, you will need to use a graphic which has transparent parts (instead of white).

Ohhh. Hmm. Well, Guessed, I wish it didn't work like this, but now that I understand, I'll fix it.

Moonshine, thanks to your png, that was easy to fix! Thank you! Very clever.
