Dealing with Word Headers
I am trying to work on a document started by the person who had my job before me. They have inserted a header throughout the document. My employer has asked me to change the header. All is well until I get to one page that contains a table and has to be printed in Landscape. Every page until then in the document is Portrait. So that page it seems impossible to change the header and then the following pages are a problem also. Can anyone please help? |

A change in page orientation requires the use of a 'Next Page' Section break to separate that page from the previous one. That may have necessitated unlinking the new Section's header & footer from the previous Section, so that the printed header & footer can be re-oriented. What this means for you is that you'll need to replicate your changes for both the landscape Section and the one that follows it.

Here is a resource if you need it. Paul's analysis is spot-on.
