Default Can I keep a drawing tool active?

I am looking for ways to speed up my work.

I am creating drawings and would like to keep a tool active after I use it. For example, I have a bunch of text boxes I want to connect. Is there a way to keep the connect line tool active so I don't have to select AutoShapes > Connector > Line every time I want to draw a line?

I am hoping there is a way to do this for all of the drawing tools.

Any help would or course be greatly appreciated!
