Word does not have this capability without VBA, however the work has been done for you in
http://www.gmayor.com/ManyToOne.htm which, in one to one mode, emulates a merge to e-mail, either as the body of the message or as attachment (or both). The only provisos are that the data source is Excel and your e-mail application is Outlook from the same office version as Word. CC, BCC and Subject etc are all customisable.
